Spotapp Migrator

A CLI that migrates your Spotify playlists to Apple Music, so nobody has to rebuild forty playlists by hand.

Why this exists

There’s no official way to move your playlists when you switch between Spotify and Apple Music — every playlist you’ve built over the years just stays stranded on the old service. Rebuilding dozens of them by hand, track by track, is exactly the kind of tedious busywork worth automating away.

What it is

A Go CLI that matches your Spotify tracks to Apple Music, mostly via ISRC codes with a fallback to title/artist search, and recreates the playlists on the other side. A few things make it less painful than it sounds:

  • Interactive mode — walk through playlists one at a time with [y]es / [n]o / [a]ll / [q]uit, or just run it in batch.
  • Dry-run — preview the matches before anything actually gets created.
  • CSV import via Exportify — sidesteps Spotify’s API rate limits and 403s when the API gets stingy.
  • No paid Apple Developer account needed — it pulls the same public JWT Apple’s own web player uses, instead of requiring a developer token.
